Aldermore has appointed James Seals to the position of regional sales manager for its invoice finance division.

Seals (pictured) is responsible for delivery of the bank’s invoice finance proposition in Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and reports to Tony Smedley, Aldermore’s Midlands regional managing director.

He began his financial services career with Lloyds TSB where he held a variety of customer service and lending positions in Bristol and Birmingham, culminating in the role of international business manager before moving to Barclays as a corporate relationship director.

Smedle said: “It’s great to have someone on board with James’ considerable experience. I’m sure his knowledge both of the banking industry and the Midlands region will stand him in good stead and I would like to wish him well for the future.”

Seals added: “Aldermore has really made its mark over the past couple of years as the new British bank that’s providing a high level of service to small and medium sized businesses.

“I’m looking forward to working with businesses in Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire to help them find suitable solutions to their future funding needs.”
