Zurich UK Life CEO to retire

Michael Brennan, CEO, Zurich UK Life, is to retire from the firm and will be leaving Zurich on 31 August 2011.

Brennan will have served 34 years with Zurich,with the majority of his career at Zurich Life Ireland as CEO of the Irish Life business prior to becoming CEO of the UK Life business in 2009.

If a successor is not in the post by 1 September 2011, David Sims, CEO Global Life Europe will become interim CEO, UK Life subject to regulatory approval, whilst at the same time continuing in his current role until a permanent successor is appointed.
