Zurich joins CIExpert’s Insight Zone

Published on

CIExpert has announced that Zurich has become the latest insurer to join its Insight Zone, the policy information hub.

Insight Zone streamlines an adviser’s protection sales and research processes by expanding its existing comparison service to offer a broader perspective on Zurich’s policy propositions in a visual, interactive and educational way.

The Insight Zone also extends beyond critical illness cover to include interactive tools and information on life policies too, ranging from claims stats to added value benefits and product flexibility. It provides advisers with access to key information on all aspects of critical illness and life propositions, in a format that helps with carrying out Consumer Duty requirements.

Zurich joins other insurers, most recently Vitality together with the five other insurers already participating in the platform within CIExpert’s service.

Paul Roberts, proposition & distribution director at CIExpert said: “We’re delighted to have another major insurer – Zurich – on board our Insight Zone. The interactive tools and insights available will serve both those advisers that are new to protection and those that are experienced, helping to break down the complexities that exist in this sector to make an adviser’s protection journey a more seamless and streamlined one. For example, our unique Condition Tracer Tool enables advisers to visually compare conditions’ coverage between plans to more easily explain the differences between policies for their clients.

“We have worked with Zurich to compliment the Insight Zone by incorporating access to their own sales support tools within the same single, centralised protection hub. Their support enables us to develop and maintain this service for CIExpert’s existing users at no additional cost. Furthermore, our data, and feedback from users, tells us that the Insight Zone is proving a valuable research tool in its own right, with advisers spending a quarter of their CIExpert sessions in this area.”

Louise Colley, director of retail protection at Zurich, added: “CIExpert’s Insight Zone offers quick and easy access to tools, videos, and other interactive support materials that really brings to life the extensive options available across our policies and the flexibility we offer our customers. Our inclusion on the Insight Zone will help to improve advisers’ understanding of how Zurich’s flexible policies can help meet the needs of customers both now and in the future as their life and needs change.”
