West One Loans

West One Loans has has appointed Keir Morris as a business development manager (BDM).

He joins the bridging lender from the Lloyds Banking Group, where he worked for six years. He was named the top performing BDM in London in both 2009 and 2010.

Morris will join existing BDM Jason Fantini, who joined West One Loans in August last year.

“Demand for bridging loans is increasing rapidly – according to our projections gross lending will hit £1.5 billion by the close of the year,” said Duncan Kreeger, chairman of West One Loans.

“With high street revenues drying up, bridging loans are becoming an increasingly vital source of business for brokers.

“Keir’s appointment reflects our growth potential and appetite to attract even more business. He will play an integral role in developing new broker relationships and cementing our existing ones.”

Morris added: “West One has an undeniably impressive track record lending on a wide range of properties and an expanding product portfolio. It was an easy choice when I was offered the role.

“It was the company’s commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers that ultimately drew me in, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s development in the future.”
