West One joins L&C’s residential and BTL panels

West One Loans has been added to London & Country Mortgages’ (L&C) panel of lenders.

The partnership will provide L&C brokers access to West One’s full range of specialist residential and buy-to-let mortgage products.

West One offers options to borrowers unable to obtain a high street mortgage with a specific focus on “flexible, practical and sensible” solutions for those with more complex circumstances.

L&C Mortgages is the UK’s largest fee-free mortgage broker and the latest to add West One to its panel following the lender’s move into the owner-occupied market in October 2023.

Paul Huxter, head of intermediary sales and distribution at West One Loans, said: “This is a highly significant announcement for us in terms of scale. We have earmarked this as a growth year for West One and announcements such as this show that we are making great strides toward that goal. We have built an enviable product range and brought that offering to a greater number of brokers and borrowers this year.

“Now we are working with one of the UK’s leading brokers to help us serve even more people at a time when the mortgage market needs more flexibility and well-designed options. We can’t wait to get started serving borrowers advised by London & Country.”

Simon Hendy, chief relationship officer at L&C, added: “We’re delighted to further boost the range of options available to our advisers through our partnership with West One. L&C is committed to finding the very best solutions for its customers from right across the market and we’re confident that West One will help us achieve that by meeting the complex needs of our customers.”
