The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) has called for a fundamental review of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

Andrew Strange, AIFA’s director of policy, told the All Party Parliamentary Group on Insurance and Financial Services, that he believed there are a number of fundamental flaws that leave the current scheme “unfit for purpose””.
