VouchedFor launches campaign to highlight true value of financial advice

Adviser review platform VouchedFor has launched a new film celebrating the enduring importance of trusted advice during life’s more testing moments.

The campaign, built around real reviews submitted to the platform, tells the stories of three clients and aims to convey that the true value of advice goes far beyond money. Rather than focusing solely on markets or financial returns, the film shines a light on the emotional and practical support advisers provide when it matters most.

Alex Gibson, head of brand at VouchedFor, said: “Millions of people think advice is not for them – often because of misunderstanding and mistrust of the profession. But reviews on VouchedFor show advisers are most valued for the support and understanding they offer to help clients navigate some of life’s most challenging moments – whether in the market, or closer to home.”

The film, which is now available to view online, is part of a wider campaign aimed at both the public and the profession. It will be promoted through Facebook, Instagram and Google, with national press advertising scheduled to appear in The Times, alongside supporting online media.

The intention, according to VouchedFor, is to educate consumers on what financial advice truly entails and to challenge outdated perceptions about who it is for.

“We’ve created this film for the advice profession – whether they use VouchedFor or not – to help educate end-investors on the true value of the work they do,” said Gibson. “We want to do all we can to help people understand what advice is and how it could benefit them. What better way to do that than by sharing client stories?”

VouchedFor, which hosts over 250,000 reviews of UK financial and mortgage advisers, says the campaign marks a shift in tone for the sector’s public image—one that aims to foster trust through human experience rather than financial jargon.
