Vizolution has hired Frank McCarthy as its business development director.

McCarthy is tasked with improving Vizolution’s strategy to provide financial services organisations with visual solutions which will better engage their customers. He will also expand this proposition and take it into new markets.

Following the firm’s relative success in the financial services market since it launched at the beginning of this year, McCarthy will look to increase this penetration and also lead the expansion of Vizolution into other sectors including pharmaceuticals, telephone companies and utilities.

McCarthy has an background of working with large corporations across a wide range of verticals including financial services, pharmaceuticals, retail, services and utilities. His background in software and services management includes some of the world’s largest companies such as Oracle, Ingres, as well as start-ups such as Entuity.

He joins Vizolution from IdenTrust, a global provider of identity management services, where he worked with customers across EMEA and Asia Pacific to provide software as a service (SaaS) enterprise solutions. Customers included: RBS, Lloyds Banking Group, National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ANZ and Bank of America.

McCarthy said: “I have seen how banks are using SaaS based services to improve their business outcomes. Vizolution’s patented screen sharing solution vScreen has been proven with some of the largest UK financial services companies and shown that it can add value and drive innovation.

“I look forward to taking that proposition to new financial services customers and then beyond financial services into new markets.”

Bill Safran, Vizolution’s CEO, said: “Financial services and other regulated industries are sharpening their focus on service efficiency and maximising channel effectiveness, so Frank’s depth of experience and industry knowledge are exactly what the company needs to drive the business forward.

“Vizolution is growing rapidly and Frank will accelerate this even further to consolidate its position as the leader in delivering visual solutions that enhance customer experience, increase conversion rates and improve compliance.”
