Virgin Money makes widespread mortgage rate increases

Virgin Money has increased a number of its residential and buy-to-let mortgage rates.

Across its Exclusive, Core and Product Transfer ranges, all fixed rates have increased by 0.20 percentage points, with the exception of:

Product Transfer:

  • 65% LTV two and three-year-fixed rate fee-savers have increased by 0.10 percentage points.
  • 65% LTV five-year fixed rate with £995 fee has increased by 0.06 percentage points.
  • 65% LTV five-year fixed rate fee-saver has increased by 0.12 percentage points.
  • Buy-to-let 60% LTV five-year fixed rate fee-saver has increased by 0.14 percentage points.

The following Product Transfer rates have remained unchanged:

  • 65% LTV two and three-year fixed rates with £995 fee.
  • Buy-to-let 60% LTV two, three and five-year fixed rates with £995 fee.
  • Buy-to-let 60% LTV two and three year fixed rate fee-savers.
  • Buy-to-let 60% LTV five-year fixed rate with £1,995 fee.
