Virgin bank would offer more choice to consumers: Which?

The purchase of Church House Trust by Virgin – which is likely to see the Virgin brand enter the retail banking sector – has ben welcomed by a consumer group.

Which? says that consumers will welcome the prospect of more choice on the high street.

Which? chief executive, Peter Vicary-Smith, said: “There’s a definite appetite for switching accounts if people feel they’ve been badly treated by their bank.
