Vida has announced the appointment of Sophie Burton as key account manager for the Midlands.

She will report directly to Richard Tugwell, director of mortgage distribution at Vida.

Burton (pictured) has experience in both retail and intermediary mortgage distribution. She has strong relationships across the Midlands in both residential and buy-to-let lending.

She joins from Nationwide Building Society where she spent over 14 years as business development manager.

Tugwell said: “I am delighted to welcome Sophie to our sales team. She brings strong knowledge of the intermediary market and is already enhancing and developing long term relationships with her intermediary partners.

“Vida remains a relatively young company and we are at an important and exciting time in the development of the business. I look forward to working with her as we continue to develop as a business.”
