VAS welcomes six new starters

Published on

VAS has announced a number of new appointments.

Among the six new starters, Joe Bates and Sarah Walker join as quotes executives, and Jemma Nicholson and Antonia Hope have been appointed as compliance executives.

These hires mean that VAS can continue to service the volume of requests for quotes while maintaining quality assurance throughout the process.

The growing quotes and compliance departments both deal directly with brokers, lenders, and valuers to facilitate the necessary speed and suitability of response to enable a smooth valuation pipeline, the firm said.

Meanwhile, Gabrielle Lane is the latest addition to the facilities department, and Jackie Lockett joins VAS as executive assistant.

In addition, CAS has created the role of client relationship manager. Sophie Flush, who has been at VAS for almost three years, has been promoted to take up this role.

VAS says it has witnessed not only a significant increase in the volume of quotes it handles daily, but a rise in non-standard valuation requests that require expert attention. Flush is taken with ensuring that, as dealing with these more complex cases becomes routine for VAS, dialogue is kept open with brokers and lenders, and they remain updated every step of the way.

In 2024, VAS saw an increase of 46% in quote volume compared to the previous year.

Natalie Benson (pictured), operations director at VAS, said: “These recent appointments are hugely exciting for VAS. Growth has been rapid, and we are proud to be able to attract brilliant new talent to ensure our clients’ needs are not just met but exceeded.

“Now standing at over 60 staff, we’re delighted to convey to the market the depth of the organisational processes that are in place to ensure we handle each and every case with the utmost diligence for successful outcomes.

“Our motto of ‘panel management, powered by people’ has never been truer, and we see the investment in the team as an added declaration of our commitment to service.”
