VAS makes £2k donation to Mission Christmas

VAS Group has donated £1,500 worth of toys and £500 cash to Mission Christmas, a nationwide charity drive help children living in poverty this December.

All 20 staff at the valuation market specialists chose to use the company’s annual festivities budget to support the Cash for Kids initiative in their local North East region.

As the website states, Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those who have additional needs.

Mission Christmas aims to give Santa a helping hand by supporting the one-in-three children living in poverty who are at risk of waking up to no gifts on Christmas Day.

Gina May (pictured, right), joint co-founder of VAS Group, said: “I’ve always said our staff are fantastic, and for them to donate the company’s £2,000 festivities budget to charity, and then take real time and effort to select the toys for Mission Christmas, has made all the management team really proud.”
