United Trust Bank reveals 2018 ‘Open Book’ winner

Published on

United Trust Bank has announced that the winner of its 2018 ‘Open Book’ broker promotion is Phil Moore of Touchstone Commercial.

The 2018 broker promotion gave participants an opportunity to win a holiday of their choice to anywhere in the world simply by earning entries into a prize draw by taking part in UTB’s regular broker polls and by entering competitions on UTB’s stand at events and expos.

Moore was the first name randomly selected from all of those who entered.

He visited UTB’s offices to collect his prize from BDM Kerry Bradley and commercial director – bridging, Gavin Diamond.

Moore (pictured, centre) said: “What a brilliant surprise! The call from Kerry came completely out of the blue and I really couldn’t believe my luck. I do UTB’s mini-polls when they come through on email because they’re quick and have more interesting topics than most of the other surveys out there. When Kerry told me that doing one of the polls had effectively won me a fantastic holiday I was delighted!

“I’ve worked with UTB for over six years now, since before I set up Touchstone. I’ve always liked the way they work and they have a great team out on the road and back in the office. In the last few years they’ve become one of my go to bridging lenders.

“My wife and I have not long come back from Sri Lanka, so we weren’t expecting to be thinking about our next holiday just yet. But now we’ve won this I think a long overdue trip to Las Vegas and Yellowstone National Park is definitely on the cards.”

Diamond (pictured, right) added: “I couldn’t be happier that Phil won this prize. He’s a strong supporter of UTB and he has worked closely with us for years. He’s a very deserving winner and I hope his luck holds out when he gets to Vegas!

“This year’s promotion is now underway and once again the main prize is a big one. UTB’s ‘Live and Learn’ promotion for 2019 lets the winner choose a life enhancing personal development course which could be anything from a triathlon training camp in California to a Cordon Bleu cookery course in the Dordogne. It could be a life changing prize.”

Brokers can earn multiple draw entries by completing United Trust Bank’s regular Mini Polls and by taking part in challenges at some of the events the Bank will be attending this year, for example the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo in June and the Finance Professionals Show in November.

Brokers who complete UTB’s Mini Polls will also have the opportunity to win from a range of smaller personal development activities such as one day culinary courses, race track driving lessons and language courses.
