United Trust Bank has appointed Nick Warren as a business development manager in its bridging department.

Warren (pictured) joins from another development lender and has experience in development and refurbishment lending, He is also used to working with property investors and developers.

Alan Margolis, head of bridging at United Trust Bank, said: “I am very excited at Nick’s appointment. We are exploring ways to expand our product offering as well as extend our market reach. Nick’s appointment will ensure we do both and I look forward to making further announcements in the near future.

“Nick’s arrival provides additional synergy between our bridging and development divisions. This year has seen increased co-operation between these departments as developers seek short term bridging funding to quickly acquire property before arranging their development finance.

“Nick has experience of both types of lending and will provide valuable insight and assistance in completing more of this business.”
