General insurance firm Uinsure has been named GI Partner of the Year by SimplyBiz Group.

Uinsure picked up the award at the annual SimplyBiz Group Partnership event.

Simon Taylor, Uinsure’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be named Simplybiz Group’s GI Partner of the Year. It is an incredible achievement and is testament to the work our team has put into developing and maintaining a fantastic partnership with the group and its members.

“We have always strived to offer more to brokers than our competitors, investing heavily in technology and working hard to offer the very best products on the market. It is great to see that hard work pay off and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with SimplyBiz.”

Martin Reynolds, chief executive of SimplyBiz Mortgages, added: “We have dealt with Uinsure for a number of years but 2014 will be seen as the year that they came of age with our members. The sharpness of pricing, the commission sacrifice and Defaqto rating all helped contribute to a greater engagement with our members.

“The introduction of a dedicated national account manager at the end of the year has also increased the head office relationship.”
