Uinsure retains Defaqto 5-star rating

General insurance provider Uinsure has been awarded a Defaqto 5-star rating for the second year running.

It first received the rating early last year, recognising its product as one of the highest quality home insurance products with the most comprehensive features on offer in the market.

Uinsure has also increased the standard level of contents cover that it offers to £60,000. The 5 Star product includes £1 million buildings cover if a client needs to rebuild their home, new for old cover on all replaced contents and a one year guarantee on home repairs carried out by insurer-appointed builders.

Unifier’s chief executive, Simon Taylor, said: “We are delighted to once again receive this rating. In such a competitive market quality counts and there is no greater stamp of quality than receiving 5 stars from Defaqto.

“We will continue to work hard to offer our brokers not only some of the most comprehensive policies but the most efficient systems and the highest level of service. We have recently expanded our sales force with six new members and are expecting 2015 to be our biggest year yet. The Defaqto rating sets us in good stead for the coming 12 months.”

In 2014 Uinsure also launched a Defaqto-powered comparison tool on its website, allowing brokers to assess the features and benefits offered by all policies on the market free of charge.
