Uinsure appoints BDM

Published on

Uinsure has appointed former Paymentshield regional sales manager Helen Linnen as its business development manager (BDM) for the south west and Wales.

She joins from specialist lender Castle Trust where she has been BDM since 2014.

Before joining Castle Trust Linnel spent several years in the general insurance sector, working at Paymentshield and at LV= as a business development manager.

Jason Berry, director of sales at Uinsure, said: “We are delighted to welcome Helen to the team. Her impressive knowledge and understanding of the GI market and the needs of intermediaries operating within it, together with her friendly approach and desire to help brokers achieve the most from their GI offering will make her a valuable member of the team.

“We have made a number of appointments this year to further strengthening our position as the leading GI provider for intermediaries.”

Linnen added: “I am thrilled to be joining such a forward thinking and exciting firm. I’ve spent many years in the GI sector and over that time I’ve witnessed Uinsure position itself as the clear number one choice for intermediaries. I look forward to working with Jason and the team in growing the brand even further.”
