Two new recruits at Alternative Bridging Corporation

Alternative Bridging Corporation has appointed a new underwriter and a case manager.

Robert Seymour has been appointed as an underwriter and joins Alternative from the Loans Partnership where he spent two years as a senior bridging, commercial and development specialist.

Seymour (pictured) has 17 years’ experience in the specialist lending area and during his career he has also worked at Enterprise Finance and the Loans Engine.

He will be part for the team providing bespoke decisions across the lender’s short-term finance proposition. He will report to Stephen Meller, director at Alternative Bridging Corporation, who said: “I’d like to welcome Robert to the team. He has a huge amount of experience and expertise in specialist finance and will play a vital role in helping us to further enhance the excellent underwriting service we provide to our intermediaries.”

Meanwhile, Divya Patel has joined Alternative as case manager. She was most recently quality assurance/ compliance assistant at the Loans Engine. Prior to that, she spent six years at Nationwide Building Society in a variety of roles.

She will report to Jonathan Rubins, director at Alternative Bridging Corporation.

He added: “We’re really pleased that Divya has joined our expanding service function. Her experience in the personal banking/mortgage & compliance sector will hold her in good stead to manage a wide variety of bridging and commercial finance cases.

“As we approach our 30th anniversary we have no desire to rest on our laurels; rather, we have ambitions to further enhance our lending and service propositions.

To achieve this, we recognise the importance of employing the right people. Both Robert and Divya will play an important part in helping Alternative maintain its position as one of the leading lights in specialist lending.”
