TRM network to hold PMI summit and awards

Published on

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network and DA Club has announced details of its second annual Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Summit and awards ceremony for advisers taking place in July.

The Summit provides both specialist PMI advisers, or those looking to start to advise on PMI, with a range of information on the sector from both its specialist division, The Right PMI Network, plus a range of providers.

Taking place on Wednesday 3r July, once again at the Nuthurst Grange Country House Hotel in Solihull, attendees will be able to hear from PMI sector specialists via keynote presentations, interactive roundtable sessions and panel Q&A discussions.

A number of sponsors will also have exhibition stands, allowing advisers to find out more about the healthcare products on offer, their USPs and the reasons why different products might be suitable for different clients.

There will also be a focus on hints and tips from The Right Mortgage to help advisers immediately boost sales in this product area. Attendees will also learn of the support and resource available to them via the network and club, to ensure they can maximise their PMI activity.

Amy Wilson (pictured), head of insurance at The Right Mortgage, said: “Last year’s PMI Summit highlighted the growing interest in this very important product sector, and the growing number of advisers who want to provide their clients with access to the most suitable and competitive PMI cover. If anything, and certainly since the introduction of the Consumer Duty rules, there is an even greater want and need for advisers to be active in this product space, which is why we’re very pleased to be holding the Summit again in July, and why we have such a strong roster of providers taking part, and sector experts available to impart their knowledge.

“Demand for PMI has undoubtedly grown, particularly in a healthcare environment where many people are waiting record times for both diagnoses and treatment, and those who attend the Summit will be able to learn of what is available for such clients, what products might be suitable and, importantly, how they might differ.

“Places at the Summit are limited so we would urge all those who wish to attend to sign up as soon as possible, and we’re looking forward to a really informative day and evening focused on PMI at the start of July.”
