TRM launches Platinum Club and Business Risk Forum

Published on

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network (TRM) has launched two new initiatives aimed at strengthening the support it offers to appointed representative (AR) firms, as it sets out plans to foster deeper peer engagement throughout the remainder of 2025.

The network’s new Platinum Club and Business Risk Forum form part of a wider strategy to recognise exceptional performance and help firms manage long-term business challenges beyond regulatory compliance.

The move follows a strong start to the year for TRM, with the network reporting double-digit growth across core areas and an increase in both adviser and staff numbers.

The Platinum Club is a new rewards initiative designed to honour top-performing firms within the network. Qualifying members will be invited to a dedicated celebration event in September, intended to highlight not only commercial success but also individual contributions to the TRM community.

BUSINESS RISK FORUM

Alongside the Platinum Club, TRM has announced the formation of a Business Risk Forum, aimed at helping firm principals address broader business and operational risks. The forum will be led by TRM’s head of regulatory training, Aidan McCarthy, and will focus on long-term sustainability for advisory businesses navigating a fast-evolving commercial landscape.

Both initiatives build on TRM’s existing programme of engagement activities, including its established regional Peer Group Meetings. These sessions provide an opportunity for AR principals to share ideas, receive practical insights from industry experts, and collaborate closely with TRM’s national account managers. The meetings are designed to support firms with growth ambitions and to create stronger connections among network members.

LEADERS EVENT

In addition, TRM will host a Senior Business Leaders Dinner later this month at Hakkasan Mayfair. The event will bring together high-performing firms in an informal setting to recognise recent successes and facilitate knowledge-sharing among peers.

Ben Allen (pictured), managing director at TRM, said the new initiatives form part of the network’s broader commitment to helping its firms grow and thrive.

“These latest firm-focused initiatives form part of our broader mission to help firms grow sustainably, manage their evolving risks, and to feel truly recognised for the success they are achieving with The Right Mortgage,” he said.

“Our new Platinum Club will celebrate excellence and commitment, while the Business Risk Forum is about providing guidance and foresight to those shaping their businesses for the future.

“By creating more targeted and meaningful interactions, whether through our regional Peer Group Meetings or at exclusive events like the Senior Leaders Dinner, we’re working to make sure every firm, no matter their size, feels supported, valued, and inspired to keep moving forward with TRM here to help and support them at every stage of their development.”
