Triple boost from Fitch for HML

Fitch Ratings

Fitch has upgraded HML’s Special Servicer rating to RSS2.

It has also assigned an RPS2 rating to its Irish operation and removed HML from Ratings Watch Negative (RWN).

HML’s Primary Servicing rating of RPS2+ and its new Special Servicer score means no other mortgage outsourcer holds a higher combined rating.

Meanwhile, the issuance of an RPS2 score for Irish Primary Servicing is the highest first time residential primary servicer rating awarded by the agency in Europe since 2006.

“Fitch’s decision to upgrade our Special Servicer rating is an endorsement of the excellent progress being made in that area, while our impressive first Irish rating is further proof of our ability to successfully manage mortgages in Ireland, following our Above Average rating from Standard & Poor’s earlier this year,” said HML’s chief executive Andrew Jones.

“Positive independent validation of our risk framework and our level of technology should give further assurance to our clients that HML offers a market-leading service.”
