Fleet Mortgages has announced three internal staff promotions with the creation of new roles.

Mark Whitear (pictured), formerly key account manager within the sales team, will take on the new role of national account manager focusing on the lender’s relationships with key partners including networks, mortgage clubs and larger intermediary firms.

The buy-to-let lender is also bolstering its underwriting department with the promotions of both Lynne French and Jacqui Taylor to new team leader positions. The pair will be supporting the ongoing growth of the business to ensure its service proposition to intermediaries remains at the highest standards.

Bob Young, CEO of Fleet Mortgages, said: “As we continue our phenomenal growth as a business it’s important that we excellent people in place to do this. It’s a pleasure to reward really top performers like Mark, Lynne and Jacqui with these promotions. These new roles, in both the sales and underwriting teams, will help us drive growth, but also ensure our service standards are maintained.

“Mark takes over the new national account manager role and will be charged with taking care of relationships with our growing number of key intermediary partners. While both Lynne and Jacqui will take on more responsibility within the underwriting department ensuring we are not just fit for purpose but we maintain our key competitive advantage – namely our service levels. It’s highly satisfying to be able to make these promotions internally, something that we intend to do more of as Fleet Mortgages grows.”
