NatWest Intermediary Solutions has appointed three new field-based business development managers (BDMs).

Lisa Taylor will be supporting a panel of mortgage intermediaries in the Bournemouth area. She previously worked for Mortgage Intelligence and as a mortgage adviser with Alliance & Leicester. More recently she has gained experience working in NatWest’s retail and private banking businesses.

Having spent more than 20 years in the mortgage industry, Samantha Teasdale has joined from Reeds Rains estate agents in Scarborough where she was a mortgage adviser. She will be working with intermediaries in Yorkshire and Teesside.

The third appointee is Sandra Cook who will be will be supporting brokers in Oxford, Milton Keynes and Northampton. She has spent the last two years as a mortgage broker and was previously with Chelsea Building Society where she gained experience as a branch manager before becoming a BDM for many years.

Mark Bullard (pictured), head of sales at NatWest Intermediary Solutions said: “I am delighted that we have been able to expand our intermediary business with the appointment of three more talented BDMs. We have grown the volume of business we have transacted with brokers over the last three years and we will continue to build what is a strategically important channel for the Group.

“The bedrock of our operation is the relationships our field and phone BDMs establish with their panels of brokers which is why I am especially pleased that Lisa, Samantha and Sandra all bring with them considerable amounts of experience from their time as mortgage advisers.

“Our commitment to the intermediary channel is stronger than ever. We’ll continue to invest in improving our application processing and growing the capability of services such as LiveTALK, our dedicated broker instant messaging platform, as well as further BDM recruitment. I am sure brokers will recognise and welcome our new BDMs and will benefit from the top class service these three individuals will deliver.”
