Blacks Connect has launched a new proposition, Blacks Affinity, a conveyancing quotation system which is now available to users of the IRESS Trigold Prospector mortgage sourcing system.

Mortgage advisers using IRESS Trigold Prospector to source a range of mortgages for an individual client can also choose to automatically receive a conveyancing quote for the case via the Blacks Affinity tool embedded on the system.

The system requires no further information from the adviser and can deliver an immediate conveyancing quote at the same time as the mortgages are sourced.

Blacks Affinity provides IRESS Trigold Prospector users with a printable pdf of the quote which can be provided to the client who is able to instruct immediately.

Once instructed the client will be provided with all their conveyancing services from Blacks Solicitors, and the adviser is able to secure their referral fee for the work.

David Gilman (pictured), partner in charge of Blacks Affinity, said: “The launch of Blacks Affinity represents the next step in our market development and is further proof of our ongoing commitment to delivering conveyancing services to mortgage advisers. Completely integrated into IRESS Trigold Prospector, Blacks Affinity requires no further data input from the adviser apart from the regular information they already key into the system. Alongside the list of mortgages available to the client Blacks Affinity will provide an immediate conveyancing quote enabling the user to actively advise on these services.

“This requires no further leg-work on the part of the adviser and means conveyancing quotes can be delivered simply and effectively. All the adviser needs to do is share the quote information with the client, print off the pdf which includes all the necessary details, and secure their agreement. This is a major development for Blacks and is particularly appropriate for directly authorised advisers seeking to maximise their activity in the conveyancing space.”

Dave Miller, IRESS executive general manager (sourcing), said: “We are always seeking to extend our solutions to reflect market needs and provide advisers with the tools they need to optimise their business opportunities. We are delighted to bring the Blacks Affinity integration to our Trigold Prospector users, streamlining the process and enabling the adviser to offer a more complete service to their mortgage clients.”
