Towergate Health & Protection has appointed Tim Moloney as its new head of client development.

This is a new role for the business.

Moloney (pictured) joins the company from Mercer Marsh Benefits where he successfully grew employee benefits in conjunction with the general insurance business across the SME, mid-market and corporate markets.

His role will include broadening Towergate Health & Protection’s propositions offered to clients to deepen the company’s relationships with them.

Jason Britton, commercial director for Towergate Health & Protection, said: “Tim is well placed to help us to achieve our client ambitions, bringing a wealth of expertise and knowledge about the industry.

“Tim’s appointment will help us continue to strengthen our team to combine highly trusted employee wellbeing, health and benefits advice with an effortless client experience.”

Moloney added: “I am delighted to join Towergate Health and Protection and look forward to further strengthening the client base in terms of the areas in which we support them with our experience and expertise.”
