Time Finance expands invoice finance division with senior SE hire

Time Finance has appointed Paul Rice as business development manager within its invoice finance division.

Rice (pictured) brings more than 25 years’ experience in financial services to the role, having previously held senior positions at Aldermore, Bibby Financial Services and RBS Invoice Finance.

His remit at Time Finance will focus on strengthening relationships with introducers throughout the southern region, supporting the lender’s ambition to grow its client base beyond the 11,000 businesses it already serves nationwide.

Commenting on his appointment, Rice said: “Finding the right solutions for business owners and helping to make a difference to the outcomes of their goals is why I love this job.

“Time Finance has a great reputation within our industry, with a good appetite for credit and a full suite of products; I look forward to bringing this to my network and reaching more businesses with the solutions they need to grow.”

Rice’s arrival forms part of a wider strategy to scale up Time Finance’s invoice finance offering. His appointment follows recent additions to the team, including Terry Wolfendale as head of sales (South) and Danielle Lynch as relationship manager.

Wolfendale welcomed the move, saying: “We are very pleased to welcome Paul to the team. Having worked together previously, I know first-hand the wealth of experience and energy that he brings to his work and to his clients. His knowledge of the industry and passion for helping businesses grow will be a great asset to the team as we continue to strengthen our presence across the South East.”
