Three new execs at Ageas Insurance

Ageas Insurance (formerly Fortis) has appointed three new broker account executives to cover the North East, East and West Midlands, and South West regions.

The executives are Jonnie Armstrong, Gavin Peacock and Jason Jackson.

Ageas aims to further strengthen its relationship with its brokers and build on its commercial underwriting capability within the business.

Previously in his role as regional sales executive for Liverpool Victoria, Armstrong was responsible for developing relations with commercial insurance brokers. He has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry including roles at Zurich and NIG (RBS).

Peacock joins Ageas from UK General Insurance Group where he held the role of schemes business development manager. He has 31 years experience of working in the insurance industry including stints at Towergate and Eagle Star/Zurich.

Prior to joining Ageas, Jackson was at Westinsure Group Ltd where as operations manager he was responsible for looking after 180 brokers and a number of insurer relationships across the UK. He has worked in the insurance industry for 23 years including time at Marsh and commercial Union.
