The Yorkshire to open two new branches

Yorkshire Building Society is to open new branches in Pudsey and Bingley.

The announcement follows Yorkshire’s announcement last month that it plans to open 12 new branches over the next two years, with further expansion of its agency network also in the pipeline.

The Yorkshire Building Society Group aims to see its total number of branches rise to 226.

The mutual said it hoped the new branches would be opened by late Spring / early Summer this year.

Chris Pilling, chief executive of the Yorkshire, said: “I’m delighted to announce that Pudsey and Bingley will soon become home to a Yorkshire branch. It’s a very exciting time for the Yorkshire as our branch and agency network is truly at the heart of our business.
