The Teachers joins PTFS panel

The Teachers Building Society has joined the mortgage panel of Personal Touch Financial Services.

James Bawa (pictured), chief executive of Teachers Building Society, said: “Our intermediaries are extremely important to our business and we’re delighted to be signing up with another network. Personal Touch prides itself on its excellent, personal customer service which is close to the heart of Teachers Building Society, and we look forward to new introduced business via its network of professional mortgage consultants.

“At Teachers we are dedicated to helping teachers and local residents purchase their dream home – which can be challenging in the current housing market. By working with a network which offers the same level of personal service and professional standards that we aim for, we can work together to help make this happen.”

Vikki Jefferies, mortgage proposition manager at Personal Touch, added: “Adding Teachers Building Society to our panel will provide our members with a really impressive niche lender to support the development of their business with customers in the education sector.

“The exclusive nature of their distribution means that we are one of just three networks to have access to this attractive product range.”
