The Swansea welcomes nine new appointments

Swansea Building Society has bolstered its branch and head office teams with nine new hires, following a fourth consecutive year of record-breaking results.

The appointments include roles in financial risk management, mortgage administration and customer service, as the mutual lender continues to invest in its people and operations amid strong performance and sustained demand.

The Society, which maintains a traditional branch-led model focused on face-to-face service, said the new additions reflect both its growth ambitions and enduring commitment to personal service.

Callum Curtis joins the organisation as financial risk manager, while Conor Harrison and Daniel Clifford have taken up mortgage administrator posts at the Swansea head office. Jaimee Walters also joins the head office team as a manager’s assistant.

In the Society’s branch network, Paula Johnson has been appointed manager’s assistant at the Portland Street office, while Christopher Rice steps into the role of branch manager in Cowbridge.

Kathryn Chadwick joins the Mumbles branch as a part-time cashier, with Sally Fuller and Hayley Barnes taking on part-time cashier roles in Portland Street and Carmarthen respectively.

The expansion follows the Society’s strongest-ever financial results, as reported at its recent annual general meeting.

Alun Williams, chief executive of Swansea Building Society, said:

“Following another record year, we are delighted to have welcomed several new colleagues to the Society.

“These appointments reflect not only our ongoing growth, but our long-standing commitment to investing in our people and maintaining the personal, face-to-face service that sets us apart.

“Our branch network and head office teams are central to the Society’s success, and we are proud to continue strengthening those teams to support both existing and new members across South Wales.”
