The Source hires new BDM

Source Insurance has announced the further expansion of its field based sales team with the addition of a new business development manager (BDM).

Fran Green (pictured) joins the specialist general insurance provider from Select & Protect where she was a BDM for more than three years.

She has spent more than 20 years in financial services starting with a seven year stint in lending before moving into the adviser space with Mortgage Next as head of sales.

Brian Coulton, head of sales for Source Insurance, said: “We are delighted to welcome Fran to the Source Family; her industry experience and depth of knowledge will be invaluable in helping us to continue to shape the business and further underlines our commitment to the mortgage adviser sector.”

Kevin Paterson, the Source’s managing director, added: “Fran will be covering the North-West for Source, historically one of the most important areas for the company and as such we wanted to make sure we recruited the right person and in Fran I think we have been lucky enough to have done just that.”
