The Right Mortgage & Protection Network held its largest and “most successful” bi-annual National Training Event to date, yesterday 17 May,

The event focused on sales ideas, building relationships and providing good quality advice.

It took place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, with over 300 attendees and over 60 lender and provider partners in attendance.

Martin Wilson, CEO of the network, opened the event and touched on the theme of the day ‘sales is not a dirty word’ and shared some of the network’s successes since the start of the year.

The event closed with a keynote speech from Paralympic Champion, Mark Colbourne MBE who motivated the attendees to embrace change, take action and always give 100%.

Wilson said: “It was a superb day with an incredible turnout. As a network we pride ourselves on giving our members a voice and listening to their feedback. We have expanded our offering to our members with the recent news of HSBC, Post Office and Canada Life being added to our panel.

“The member focused approach that we live and breathe within the network shows in the success of our continued growth and I feel immensely proud of the relationships that we have managed to build over the past three years with our lenders, providers and of course, our members.”

The event also showcased the network’s specialist later life lending and PMI arms, featuring round tables from some of the leading equity release and healthcare providers.

Colbourne added: “Having reflected on what was an amazing experience at the Network’s National Training Event in Birmingham, it was a true pleasure to share my key messages on vital principles that have elevated me through my career to go from ‘Zero to Hero’.

“Good luck to everyone who attended the event and remember that The Best Dreams Happen When You’re Awake.”
