The Mortgage Lender has restructured its sales and distribution team to improve support for its distribution and intermediary partners and strengthen strategic relationships with target markets.

The field BDM team now comprises of two verticals led by David Eaves as head of sales – North & South West, and Chris Kirby as head of sales – Midlands, South & specialist distribution. Eaves will also continue to oversee TML’s telephone sales hub at its Glasgow head office.

There is also an increased focus on distribution partners with the creation of two new roles, with Anum Mahmood as key account manager – specialist distribution, and Charlie Stack as key account manager – corporate accounts, for network and clubs.

A position has also been created to help develop TML’s portfolio proposition and relationships with brokers supporting portfolio landlords, with Sarah McCawley being appointed as key account manager.

Meanwhile, Keith Campsie has been appointed as BDM for Central London, having previously held the same role in the Home Counties South. He will be responsible for enhancing TML’s ties to brokers in Greater London, whilst also developing new relationships and providing support.

Steve Griffiths, chief commercial officer at The Mortgage Lender, said: “We’ve recognised the changing needs of customers for the more complex, real-life scenarios within the property lending market. Whether they are looking to purchase or refinance a residential mortgage or expand their buy-to-let portfolio, it’s important to us at TML that we’re giving our brokers and their clients the best possible support.

“We have created a newly structured sales and distribution team to help navigate these changing needs and provide an enhanced relationship experience. Our talented team is committed to offering a proposition suited to each individual’s circumstances, to help ensure they can fulfil the property ambitions.”
