The Mortgage Lender expands panel

The New Leaf Distribution network has added The Mortgage Lender (TML) to its panel.

The move provides the network’s 100-strong team of advisers access to a range of mortgages for borrowers who don’t quite fit the requirements of high street lenders.

Chris Nairn, New Leaf Distribution’s owner, said: “We’re always looking for ways to expand the proposition our advisers are able to offer to attract new customers. The Mortgage Lender’s ethos of doing what it says on the tin, together with its competitive pricing and a pragmatic approach to underwriting make it the ideal partner for us, our advisers and their customers.”

Pete Thomson, TML’s sales and marketing director, added: “New Leaf Distribution joins The Mortgage Lender at an exciting time. Our network is growing at a rapid rate and we’re challenging the status quo of the market. As a result, brokers can offer highly competitive rates and a sensible, common sense approach to applications which are underwritten on their individual merit.

“We’re thrilled to welcome New Leaf Distribution and we’re looking forward to building a close working relationship with its team of advisers.”

To highlight its competitive positioning in the market The Mortgage Lender is inviting brokers to #ChallengeTML to see if they can offer the best deal for their applicants and provide certainty that the rate quoted on a successful decision in principle is the rate a customer will receive at offer.

One in three of its borrowers qualify for its lowest rate, currently 1.95%, and 98% of its offers are on the same product tier as the decision in principle.
