The Marsden launches online platform for intermediaries

The Marsden Building Society has introduced a new intermediary online platform.

It is for mortgage applications covering residential, older borrower, Retirement Interest Only (RIO) and expat buy-to-let ranges.

The new platform allows intermediaries to submit applications and upload supporting documents as well as managing cases, communicating with the Marsden Intermediary Support team and track the progress of the application once submitted.

Heather Crinion, general manager (operations), said: “We’ve been working closely with brokers to ensure the new platform works in support of what we do. We were very conscious of achieving the right balance between the personal service we provide and the digital fulfilment that Intermediary Online delivers.

“After trialling with some of our intermediary partners, we’re confident that intermediaries will find the platform easy to use and will continue to have full access to our intermediary support team.

“We continue to deliver individual underwriting through our service as we operate in some of the more niche lending areas so the platform, there’s still a personal underwriter available to discuss your initial enquiry and give the final review of each case.

“There’s a helpful User Guide that’s been put together and our Intermediary Support Team are available on 01282 440583 should brokers need any further support.”
