The Mansfield introduces secure document upload

Published on

Mansfield Building Society has improved its online application process by introducing a secure upload facility for brokers to send supporting documents with mortgage applications.

This follows an earlier upgrade to the Society’s systems, which delivered a reduction in the time taken to get online cases to its underwriting team.

The Nottinghamshire based lender, which has just announced a 49% increase in completions for the six months to the end of June, claims that its investment and focus in the intermediary sector is a key component in achieving its ongoing success.

In its latest Broker Satisfaction survey, results showed that over 82% of respondents rated The Mansfield’s service as good or very good when compared to other lenders.

Stuart Bryce, business development manager at The Mansfield, said: “Brokers continue to tell us that they value our approach to underwriting, assessing each case on its own merits, and would benefit from a streamlined online application process.

“This new development significantly improves broker access to our lending proposition, making it even easier to deal with The Mansfield.

“This latest enhancement demonstrates The Mansfield’s commitment to the intermediary market, and the latest results from our Broker Satisfaction survey would suggest we’re on the right track.”
