The Leeds makes product development hire

Jaedon-Green

Leeds Building Society has appointed Jaedon Green as head of product development.

Green (pictured) has over 25 years experience in financial services, including almost 10 years at Lloyds Banking Group. During this period he was head of mortgage products, managing mortgage product pricing, innovation and promotion. He also worked closely with the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) and the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) on housing issues.

Green said: “My teams will ensure we continue to provide sustainable savings and mortgage products for our members; products which offer fair value without onerous conditions. We’re also responsible for developing the new products which will face in to the very real challenges of home ownership in the 21st century.

“My background is a combination of retail and financial services, but I tend to find that most banks have an inbuilt ability to over-complicate life. Mortgages and savings are everyday products that customers need and use, but you shouldn’t need a degree to understand how they work.

“My new role presents a great opportunity to be different, to listen to our customers and build the products they want and need.”
