The Leeds cuts two year buy-to-let fixes

The Leeds Building Society has lowered rates on selected two-year buy-to-let fixed rate mortgages.

The new deals will be available tomorrow (Friday 25 October).

They are as follows:

  • 1.44% two year buy-to-let mortgage up to 60% LTV
  • 1.59% two year buy-to-let mortgage up to 70% LTV

Both products have a £1,999 product fee and come with a free standard valuation and fees assisted legal services.

The 80% LTV product at a rate of 2.94% comes with a free standard valuation, fees assisted legal services for remortgages and a £2,499 product fee.

Matt Bartle, the Leeds Building Society’s director of products, said: “Our experience and expertise in the buy-to-let market means we’re well-positioned to meet the evolving requirements of landlords.

“We know that many landlords are actively managing their portfolios, with their choice of mortgage deals playing an important role in maximising yield.

“These rate reductions follow the launch of our two year 80% LTV product, which continues to offer the lowest rate on the market.”
