The Leeds Building Society has appointment of a new strategic planning lead.

Craig Macfarlane (pictured) joins the Society from Aldermore Bank, where he was working on the financial and corporate plan whilst supporting the bank through its recent Initial Public Offering (IPO).

He has also spent 14 years in planning, reporting and decision support at National Australia Bank.

“I am delighted to welcome Craig to Leeds Building Society’s Strategic Planning team,” said Alison Port, Leeds Building Society’s chief strategy officer.

“He will be involved in managing our corporate plan process and further developing the insight and analysis the team produces.”

Macfarlane added: “I am looking forward to working collaboratively with a variety of business areas to set the strategic long-term goals and successes for the Society.

“This is combined with assisting the management team in developing its strategic approach to the marketplace, through the provision of strategic business analysis.”
