The Chelsea offers paperless option

Chelsea Building Society has launched a new online mortgage facility.

It allows customers to complete their whole mortgage process online and will complement the Chelsea’s existing branch and telephone products.

The launch follows research from the mutual which looked at what options were available for customers online when looking for a new mortgage product. The survey, conducted by ICM Research, indicated that given the opportunity,45% of those questioned said they would want to apply online when purchasing their next mortgage.

Debbie Hill, delivery manager within the Chelsea’s e-commerce team, said: “We understand and recognise the demand for online mortgage provision and this is something we have worked hard to deliver for our customers.
