TenetLime holding series of MCD events

Published on

TenetLime is hosting a series of Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD) events in February, to cover the changes coming into force as a result of the Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD), which comes into effect on 21 March 2016.

The events are available to all advisers and will outline the changes firms will need to make to their business to comply with the new regulation, from both a directly authorised and an appointed representative perspective.

They will also give advisers the opportunity to hear about the impact and implications of the directive from both first and second charge lenders, as well as master brokers.

Dates and venues are as follows:

  • Tuesday 2 February – Leeds – Oulton Hall
  • Thursday 4 February – Edinburgh – MacDonald Houstoun House
  • Tuesday 9 February – London – DeVere Holborn Bars
  • Wednesday 10 February – Bristol – Aztec Hotel
  • Thursday 11 February – Birmingham – The Belfry

Gemma Harle, managing director of TenetLime, said: “Advisers won’t be able to dip in and out of advising on second charge business so it’s important they make an informed decision. These events will help them understand how the new regulations will impact on their model, the choices available and what will need to be changed from a regulatory point of view.”
