Teachers Building Society has is rolling out its mortgage product range to customers of any occupation in the county of Hampshire.

Based in Wimborne, the Society extended its range in its home county of Dorset in 2010 and is now building on its regional presence by reaching out to residents in its neighbouring county.

Colin Dorman, national account manager at Teachers Building Society, said: “We’re seeing more and more applications from the Dorset area so it makes perfect sense to extend to Hampshire, while retaining our specialism in mortgages for people working in the education sector nationwide.

“I know that many intermediary partners on our doorstep have clients in both counties, and I’m confident that they’ll be pleased to be able to offer our growing suite of products across the county border.”

Jeremy Duncombe, director of Legal & General Mortgage Club, said: “It is good to see Teachers BS widen their geographical spread, in addition to catering for educational professionals. This will allow their new range of products to be taken by more customers who wouldn’t have previously qualified.”
