Taylor Rose strengthens leadership with senior appointments and promotions

Published on

Taylor Rose has announced a series of senior hires and internal promotions as it continues its expansion across core legal practice areas, including commercial and residential property, dispute resolution, and its newly launched business immigration team.

The latest appointments form part of a broader strategy by the firm to bolster its leadership and technical expertise, while expanding its national footprint and sector capabilities.

Daniel Addrison joins the commercial property team as partner. He was previously a partner at Tollers in Stevenage and began his career at Moon Bever, now part of Wedlake Bell.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Addrison is tasked with supporting the integration of teams across Taylor Rose’s offices and will focus on acting for developers and investors.

NEW BUILD & SHARED OWNERSHIP

In residential property, Puja Dutta has been named head of new build and shared ownership. A partner-level solicitor with more than 18 years’ post-qualification experience, she brings a strong track record in complex transactions. Dutta’s role will centre on growing the firm’s new build offering and strengthening its market presence in this specialist area.

The firm has also moved into business immigration with the appointment of Victoria Welsh as partner and head of business immigration. Welsh has spent more than two decades in the legal sector, including 13 years specialising in UK immigration.

She previously built and led the immigration department at Laytons LLP. Her new team at Taylor Rose will support corporate and individual clients on matters including sponsor licences, work visas and Home Office compliance.

TRIO OF PROMOTIONS

Taylor Rose has also announced three senior internal promotions.

Patrick Ansell, who joined the firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2018, has been promoted to legal head of litigation. He was previously head of property litigation, a post he held from 2020 until May 2025.

Ansell’s areas of expertise include contentious property, professional negligence, debt recovery and contractual disputes.

David Webb has taken on the role of legal head of dispute resolution (injury). A solicitor since 2004, Webb has extensive experience in personal injury and credit hire claims and has handled some of the most complex and serious matters in the field, including brain injuries and amputations.

He also has niche expertise in sports injury cases, particularly those involving golf.

Meta Panchamia was promoted to director of dispute resolution in April. With a career spanning over 25 years, she is widely recognised for her work in commercial litigation and insolvency.

She has led cases across jurisdictions including the US, UAE and India, and has significant experience in group litigation and litigation funding.

Commenting on the appointments, Adrian Jaggard, chief executive of Taylor Rose and its parent AIIC Group, said: “These appointments and promotions reflect our strategic focus on strengthening key areas of our business.

“As we continue to grow our offering and geographical presence in key areas, it’s vital we invest in the right people.

“Each of these individuals brings exceptional expertise and leadership that will help us deliver even greater value to our clients and support our long-term strategic vision.”
