Tandem makes key digital and marketing appointments

Tandem has announced the appointment of Maria Khan as director of product and digital and Chris Parker as head of marketing.

As director of product and digital, Khan (pictured) leads the development of Tandem’s digital offering, working with the team to create further green digital banking solutions for its customers, as well as its design and marketing divisions. She joins Tandem with extensive experience in financial services, having previously worked at J.P Morgan, and the Royal Bank of Scotland, where she also developed digital products.

Parker joins Tandem as head of marketing, bringing with him almost 20 years of marketing experience, most recently as head of retail marketing at Santander.

Khan said: “It’s clear Tandem is on an exciting journey and I’m glad to be joining at such a critical time. As customers pivot to caring more and more about where their money is going regarding sustainability and have rising expectations of leading tech and products to help them navigate their financial needs, the opportunity to have an impact and help grow Tandem is exciting.

“There’s a huge opportunity for the bank and it’s a privilege to get going and help more and more consumers make the transition to greener choices.”

Alex Mollart, Tandem’s CEO, added: “It’s great to welcome Maria and Chris to the team.
