Metro Bank has opened its 16th store, this time in South London.

The Sutton opening is the latest step in Metro Bank’s expansion plan to open 200 stores by 2020. Further stores in Slough, Guildford and Ealing are planned for 2013.

Metro Bank is open 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sunday and bank holidays, 361 days a year. The new Sutton Metro Bank store can be found at 83/87 High Street, Sutton, SM1 1JF.

“Metro Bank’s continued success and growth is a triumph for customer service,” claimed Craig Donaldson, chief executive officer at Metro Bank.

“We know what customers want, and already we’ve seen large numbers of people flock to us for the unparalleled service and convenience we offer. Now the people of Sutton have a bank that’s open seven days a week and at times that suit them. At a time when other banks are closing their doors, we’re so pleased to have opened our 16th store in Sutton.

“Metro Bank isn’t just for personal customers, so we’d also like to invite all of Sutton’s businesses to come and help us celebrate. Metro Bank continues to bring a completely new, convenient and customer focused way of banking, and we look forward to our Sutton store becoming a centre-point of the community and making a difference to the way that the town banks.”
