StreamBank hires Paula Purdy and Gary Lomax for northern sales roles

StreamBank has appointed Paula Purdy and Gary Lomax to senior sales roles covering the North and Scotland as it continues to expand its national broker-facing team.

Purdy (pictured, right) joins as national account director for the North, while Lomax has been named business development manager for the North and Scotland.

The lender said the appointments form part of a wider build-out of its sales presence, following a number of other hires made earlier this year, including Lorenzo Satchell as national account director for the South, Kendyl Binnie as a business development manager and Denise Davies as senior underwriter.

Purdy has more than 20 years of financial services experience. She spent 14 years at Shawbrook Bank and most recently was sales director at United Trust Bank. At StreamBank, she will focus on relationships with networks and key accounts across the North.

Lomax (pictured, left) also joins from United Trust Bank, where he was a business development manager. StreamBank said he brings experience across bridging and specialist lending and will work with brokers across the North and Scotland.

The appointments come after StreamBank cut bridging rates and updated its criteria in March, while also introducing a simplified product structure aimed at making case placement easier for brokers.

Purdy said: “I am delighted to be joining StreamBank at such an exciting point in its growth. The bank has built a strong reputation for its approach to bridging and its commitment to working closely with brokers.

“I look forward to strengthening relationships with networks and key accounts and supporting brokers with solutions that help them place cases with confidence.”

Lomax said: “StreamBank has a clear focus on service, speed and common-sense lending, which really stands out in the current market.

“I am looking forward to working with brokers across the North and Scotland – helping them navigate increasingly complex cases with practical, reliable support.”

Roz Cawood

Roz Cawood, managing director of property finance at StreamBank, added: “The quality of people joining StreamBank this year reflects both our ambition and the strength of our proposition. Paula and Gary are well known and highly respected across the specialist market, and their experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow.

“These new hires strengthen our ability to support brokers with well-structured deals, particularly as cases become more detailed and time sensitive. We are building a team that understands how to get deals done and deliver consistently for our broker partners.”
