Stonebridge makes two operational hires

Published on

Stonebridge, the national mortgage and protection network, has announced the appointment of Matt Buckland and James Porter, who take on the roles of quality & performance manager and business standards assessor team manager, respectively.

Both have been mortgage advisers during their careers: Buckland as a whole of market broker for Sequence and Porter as a mortgage adviser with Nationwide.

Porter joins Stonebridge from PRIMIS, having spent five and a half years at the network, where he was responsible for file assessment. Buckland joins from Giving Mortgages, where he was compliance manager.

Gavin Earnshaw, operations director at Stonebridge, said: “Our member firms’ experience of being part of the Stonebridge family is key. That’s why we place such importance on the continuous improvement and strengthening of our AR support functions.

“We put our money where our mouth is by both investing in our people and attracting new talent with extensive sector experience.

“Matt and James are not only great additions to the team; their move to Stonebridge also shows the pull of an ambitious yet friendly network with a clear strategy for providing market-leading support to its members.”
