SimplyBiz Mortgages has announced that the Stafford Railway Building Society (Stafford Railway) has joined its lending panel.

Stafford Railway, which has been offering mortgages for over 140 years, specialises in complex incomes, mixed use and unusual properties, self-build properties, repatriation mortgages and ex-pat buy-to-let.

Its whole range, including mortgages for those with complex incomes, repatriation loans and unusual properties, is now available to SimplyBiz Mortgages’ members through its panel.

Martin Reynolds (pictured), CEO of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “Stafford Railway offers all the benefits of a well-established and respected firm, with a legacy of more than a century, but with a very modern perspective on lending, and I am pleased to welcome them to the SimplyBiz Mortgages panel.

“They recognise the diversity of circumstances that clients may bring, as well as a refreshing flexibility to the properties they will consider for loans, and I’m certain members will appreciate Stafford Railway’s approach to working with brokers and advisers to find the best solutions for clients.”

Emma Parker, business development manager – south of Stafford Railway Building Society, added: “Intermediaries and their partners play a significant role in the growth aspirations of Stafford Railway Building Society. We’ve been within the intermediary space for a little over four years now and our partnership with SimplyBiz Mortgages allows us to continue promoting our specialist lending and the benefits of genuine manual underwriting to a wider community.”
