Source Insurance streamlines its quote journey

Source Insurance has updated its general insurance platform to help brokers obtain quotes quicker.

Source has rebuilt its household and landlord quote journeys, so fewer questions are required to get a standard quote while still accommodating for more complex cases.

Carl Oakes, who was recently appointed Source’s director of sales, said: “Brokers have told us they would like to do more GI business but are finding it hard to fit into their demanding schedules.

“We are excited to be releasing our latest update, which will enable them to produce more quotes without compromising on choice.”

The general insurance firm has revamped its interface to make it more intuitive and easier to use. As part of the redesign process, its tested the system with a diverse group of brokers to ensure it met their needs.

Oakes (pictured) added: “We received excellent feedback from our testers, with many complimenting us on how easy it was to get a straightforward quote while still being able to cover non-standard cases.

“Last year we integrated third-party property data into the platform to streamline the system for brokers. This update shows our continued commitment to invest in and improve our services.

“With the recent changes to GI pricing practices, brokers have a real opportunity to highlight the value they can add by offering quality GI products to their clients.

“We’ve redesigned our system so brokers can tailor quotes a lot faster and to a greater extent, enabling them to demonstrate the value they can offer.”
